Team Kometa was found in year 2002. In seasons 2002/2003 to 2007/2008 the team competed in novice category. In years 2006 to 2008 the team was the winner of the Czech Championship. In season 2008/2009 the whole team changed to the junior category. A new pre-novice team was formed in the same season.
The junior team is made up of mainly past-solo skaters in ages between 13 – 17, and the novice team from kids in age between 9 – 13 years.
We welcome new skaters into both teams – solo skaters from Prague and surrounding.
The team regularly competes in national and foreign countries and exhibition performances. Competing programs are possible to adjust by the need for a specific performance.
There is a preparatory ice-skating course specialized for synchronized skating. For school year 2009/2010 we welcome new kids to the preparatory skating course (6-12 years). If you like to skate, come watch our training. Synchronized skating may just be the right sport for you, and you might as well join us.
Synchronized skating is ideal for children, who start skating in later years, or the ones who, for any type of reason, can no longer do solo skating. |
